Theme: "One Voice, One Future"
The Emirates Nursing Association held the Second National Forum for Clinical and Academic Nursing Leaders under the slogan "One Voice, One Future" on Thursday, September 19, at the Marriott Hotel in Dubai, under the generous sponsorship of Argo Company (a company owned by Arjo Group (listed in Sweden) and involved in the business of manufacturing and trading of medical equipment globally and has been in the Middle East market facilitating patient care more than a decade) The forum included a number of nursing leaders from various emirates of the country represented by both private and governmental entities. During the forum, a partnership agreement was signed between the Emirates Nursing Association and Argo Company.
On this occasion, Dr. Sumaya Mohammed AlBlooshi, ENA President, delivered the opening speech and stressed the importance of this forum in spreading awareness of the importance of improving quality and seeking excellence in nursing practices and improving the performance of nursing staff, presenting the most important challenges faced and how to find appropriate solutions, and highlighting the role of nursing workforce in raising the efficiency of health performance. She also stressed the importance of preparing research and investigating facts to discover the best healthy methods for nursing practices.
The forum included a series of presentations and dialogue sessions in which the most important issues, challenges and recommendations in the field of nursing and midwifery were discussed, in addition to discussing the Emiratization file and new strategies for providing nursing care using advanced technology based on evidence and modern scientific evidence.
The most important achievements of the association were also presented by the association's committees and societies include Mental Health Society, Nursing Informatics Society, Infection Prevention & Sterilization Society ,Wound and Stoma Society , Midwifery Society ,Operating Rooms Society ,Pediatric Society Student and Early Career Society and finally Scientific Committee, who highlighted their most important achievements and scientific contributions that enhance the roles of nursing in all different specialties.
In conclusion, the attendees were thanked for their participation in this forum and the speakers and strategic partner were honored.
